The first step is for us to take a look at the property you own. This will help us to determine the size and type of custom home we can build, how to get utility services to the home site, and which specific customers we may already have waiting in the wings who would love your land. 

2. We Discuss Building Options.

After taking a close look at your property, we’ll discuss what we can build there. We take into account any municipal building codes, setbacks, or other considerations, then determine the maximum size and shape of the home we can build. 

If a property is large enough, we may discuss the option to split the land into several building sites. We’ll discuss these options with you, as it may allow you to get more money for your property. 

3. We Agree on a Price.

After deciding how best to offer your property to potential buyers, we agree on an initial asking price. 

We will use this pricing when packaging your land into our new home estimates. Because we have buyers actively looking for property on which to build, we are often able to facilitate the sale of vacant land much faster than owners or even real estate agents. 

4. We Package Your Land With Our Custom Home Designs.

Vision Homes usually does not buy property from you directly, but rather we package your property price into our home packages that we offer our customers. This allows us to work out a very precise cost estimate by breaking out land cost on a separate line item. 

This also allows us to present a set price for your property that oftentimes is more than you would get on the open market.

It’s also much easier on you, since you don’t have to actively sell your land. You can just sit back and wait for us to sell it for you!

5. We Sell Home Package With Your Land Included.

When our customers sign on the dotted line and we close a deal that includes your land, we contact you ASAP to confirm the price and details of the sale. 

We facilitate the entire process, so all you have to do is sign off on the deed transfer. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

6. You Get Paid.

When the sale is complete, you will receive the agreed-upon price, and the land will be transferred into the new owner’s name. At this point, you’ve sold your land for a nice chunk of money without the hassle and headaches of fielding phone calls and offers, answering a million questions, and taking time out of your busy schedule to show the property.
